First and Foremost – to those who are serving, have served, have bled and have died; our champions, our wounded warriors, our fallen heroes, our veterans - THANK YOU! Nothing that we can do or say can ever repay the debt that we owe you! You walk daily in harm’s way so that we may walk free, you give up your homes and your families so that we can enjoy ours, you sacrifice all so that we can be - we are America and proud to say – Thanks to you all, every single day!  

Midterm elections are less than a year away! A few thoughts to keep in mind as this critical time in US history rapidly approaches:

When liberals took control of Congress in 2006 and the White House in 2008, we were assured of the following:

1. A vibrant economy, with lower taxes for the working class and higher taxes for the wealthy evildoers.
2. The most honest, accountable and transparent government in our history.
3. Decisions and laws based upon the will of the people.
4. A truly bipartisan government with no more politics as usual.
5. An end to special interests and lobbyists.
6. No more closed-door sessions and backroom deals.
7. An end to the Bush era “cowboy” diplomacy.

What we ended up with:

1. A nearly collapsed economy, with the dollar devaluated to historic lows, unemployment at historic highs, taxes poised to crush the small business owners who employ nearly 70% of America, thousands of dollars in federal “pass-through” taxes overburdening every working family’s annual budget and no end in sight to our insurmountable federal deficit – the liberal response to this, “we inherited this from the Bush Administration” – even though they have been in total control since 2006.
2. Rampant corruption (e.g.: Moran, Jeffers, Buris, Blogovich, Rangel, Richardson, Dachle, Spitzer, Pelosi, Reed, Dodd, Schumer, Murtha, Frank, Jefferson, Holder, Geithner and the list goes on, ad infinitum – it would be easier to list the few Democrats that have not engaged in illegality, corruption and deceit), extraordinary unaccountability and the most secretive government that has ever existed in our history - the liberal response to this, “move along, there is nothing to see here”.
3. Bills passed in the dead of night, highly secretive committees convene daily and backdoor deals with lobbyists, industries, unions, and questionable organizations (ACORN, SEIU, Soros, et al.) are made without a single thought to the Constitution or consequences to America and our future generations - the liberal response to this, “the good of all Americans are at the heart of every decision”.
4. HA!… partisan politics have achieved DEFCON 4 under this administration and the “no more politics as usual” is a “change” from Washington politics to Chicago style political corruption - the liberal response to this, “we do this for the repressed, the elderly and the children”.
5. Special interests and lobbyist are now writing bills for Congress for clandestine passage of legislation, the only “change” that has occurred is that the process is streamlined and unquestioned - the liberal response to this, “we have a mandate and we know what is best for America”.
6. The closed doors are now routinely locked, not only to keep out Republicans, but all of America - the liberal response to this, “keep your eyes on this hand”.
7. Iran now has nuclear weapons and is in the final stages of perfecting their long-range delivery systems, North Korea is dictating terms and conditions and is threatening war with South Korea and the west if they are not met. Russia and China exploit our weaknesses continuously and encourage world dictators to push our buttons to the point of provocation. And terrorist around the world can smell the blood in the water… where is “cowboy” diplomacy when you need it.   

I truly hate to say “I told you so”, but read my blog “Welcome to the New Republic”, which I wrote in November of 2008. Liberals are exceedingly predictable…

Now for the “Next Big Thing”:

Liberals narrowly avoided getting their hands stuck in the proverbial cookie jar after the 2008 Presidential elections. They have (at least on paper) successfully distanced themselves from the voting fraud and illegality perpetrated by ACORN and their proxy organizations. This was a reprehensible offense and even the liberal mindset realizes the catastrophic consequences if their collusion were to be exposed. ALL demographic statistics, polls and societal experts agree that America is a right-centrist country – nearly 34% of Americans are conservative, with a right-centrist “independent” component of nearly 24% comprising nearly 58% of Americans with a “right leaning” proclivity. Left-centrist Americans comprise nearly 31% of the electorate, while the remaining 11% are considered liberals. With nearly 55% of Americans in the middle ground, add to that the conservative Americans and you have a full 89% of the voting populace. With those numbers against them, liberals have realized that they need to cheat to achieve their goals and implement their Marxist agendas. Hence you have ACORN, massive voter fraud, illegal campaign financing, liberal candidates who routinely pose as socially compassionate right-centrists, conservative candidates who are routinely vilified and now the new manifestation: the DemoRAT. This is not a Rhino (Republican in name only) who is sometimes conservative, sometimes liberal, this is an ultra-liberal who has infiltrated the GOP. We have seen this in the special election in the New York 23^rd Congressional District. Divide and conquer – the new liberal mantra. DO NOT be fooled! It has worked once and will be attempted again. Question your candidates as to their true nature and listen carefully – remember “Joe the plumber” exposed Obama’s true nature early in the campaign cycle. In addition, cautiously review third party candidates (understand that I am all for a multiple party system to provide greater choice than an often corrupt Democratic candidate or an unimpressive Republican candidate). Quite often these third party candidates are introduced by the DNC to strip right-leaning votes away from the Republican candidate. As an aside - what ever happened to Ralph Nader during the 2008 Presidential elections, is it just me or did he announce his candidacy, receive threats from Rahm Emanuel and then just fall off the map? Enough ranting for the day – Have a safe day and do something nice for a veteran, they have earned it!

Remember: Vote your conscience! Get rid of the Marxists, the corruption and the greed!

A Wakeup Call… A clarion alarm is sounding in the distance and we Americans are NOT responding. Our government is intentionally misleading us (what a surprise) on an unprecedented scale!  This administration and congress cannot provide any semblance of accurate unemployment numbers (the DOL is reporting just under 10% national unemployment, when states, economists and experts are stating (emphatically) that the actual numbers are nearly 17 – 23% unemployment rates nationally).  This administration and congress cannot provide any semblance of accurate federal deficit numbers (the administration is stating that our current deficit is running about $1.2 Trillion, and that the Bush administration is solely responsible for this deficit (an outright fabrication), when in fact the CBO, OMB, economists and experts are stating (emphatically) that our current federal deficit numbers are running over $10 Trillion (historically unparalleled).  This administration and congress cannot provide any semblance of accurate economic recovery information (the administration is reporting that nearly 500,000 - 1,000,000 jobs have been “created or saved” since January, when all the experts are stating that number is only 25,000 – 30,000 federal jobs that have been created (at taxpayer expense), and little to no activity has occurred in the private sector.  

What we DON’T need…

With all of the focus on what we do need to correct the current geopolitical/economic crisis, it might be refreshing to review what we as a nation don’t need.

A momentary retrospective is in order: Our glorious collective comrades, our divinely inspired paragons of global intelligencia took control of both Houses of Congress in 2006. Our glorious leader, Barack Obama assumed his divine mantle and ascended to his inscrutable throne of power in January. In the brief nine months that he has proclaimed both the mandate from god and the citizens of United Socialists of America, he has achieved nothing short of miracles. The global war on terror has been officially declared over (I still am not sure who the winner is). We are currently engaged in resolving international man-made disasters and overseas contingencies. The “issue” with undocumented future US Citizens has been resolved. We are no longer enforcing those pesky immigration and border laws and officially will not remove any undocumented US Citizen regardless of the circumstances (including felony convictions). Our glorious leader has changed the hearts and minds of the entire global community; we are no longer hated by everyone (as we were under the evil Bush regime). Everyone is extending an olive branch to us – no one wants to smuggle NBC WMDs into our country and kill US citizens (except for maybe the 2 dozen or so evil, racist, kitten-hating conservatives that are left in the country).

Our economic crisis: the recession/depression, massive unemployment, staggering federal debt, record bankruptcies (individuals, corporations and States), runaway inflation, crashing financial institutions and the considerably devaluated dollar and housing markets are a thing of the past. Our glorious leader has declared this to be so and will save the citizens of the new U.S. from themselves, the evil capitalists and the disastrous Bush policies that created the global economic collapse, terrorism, war, profiteering, a third-world healthcare system, and unilaterally caused the failures of Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, (fill-in the blanks…). 

Now to “What we don’t need”:

1. We no longer need a Department of Homeland Security – DHS’ charter was:

a.)    Combat terrorism - which no longer exists,

b.)   To protect our borders - we are now “open borders” to any and all future citizens and

c.)    To prevent the illegal importation and smuggling of harmful materials - everyone loves us now so even the concept that someone would intentionally try to harm us is absurd.     

DHS personnel is approximately 220,000 employees. These individuals can be immediately re-tasked to help administrate our exceptional single payer federal healthcare system, this should (by United Kingdom standards) be about 20% of the personnel required to effectively run this program.

2. We no longer need a military; our Department of Defense existed to combat “cold war” mentalities that we projected around the world. Again everyone loves us now, and we no longer need to expand our fascist, capitalist, military/industrial complex mentality throughout the peace-loving world. The approximate 3,000,000 military personnel can be re-tasked to a new federal domestic law enforcement “army” to combat the 2 dozen or so evil, racist, kitten-hating conservatives that are left in the country. Our military systems, weapons, air, sea and land fleets and all now extemporaneous military equipment (including nukes) can be made available in a new Cash for Clunkers Program. We will pay any nation or organization (outside of the US) to take our now unnecessary equipment if they agree to sign a 1000+ page legally binding document created by Congressman Waxman, George Soros, the Apollo Group and ACORN, that specifies the equipment will be immediately rendered unusable, scrapped and designated only for peaceful and green initiatives.  

If we take these actions IMMEDIATELY, we can save the taxpayers (by our glorious leader’s new math) approximately 2.8 trillion dollars, which coincidentally, is exactly what our new projected federal debt is. Do not be alarmed, those privileged few who are still employed in the new U.S. of A. will be working for our government – either directly or through our peaceful, incorruptible union bosses.

Now isn’t everyone happy!

On this the unprecedented ushering in of a new political era, we have cultivated a “New Republic” in America – an ultraliberal administration (the Executive Branch), with an ultraliberal congress (the Legislative Branch), a soon-to-be ultraliberal Supreme Court and Federal Judiciary (the Judicial Branch) and an overwhelmingly ultraliberal media (the “Watchdog” Branch). America has now created a government that no longer has any checks and balances, and is on the precipice of a Democratic Dictatorship. Impossible! Read and learn: 

This ultraliberal block will immediately attempt to break the tenuous democratic process that exists in our unions. These massive unions control millions of American jobs and hence influence tens of millions of American lives. One of the first legislative actions of our new congress will be to eliminate the secret balloting that now protects the anonymity of union members from the often corrupt union leadership. Once this protection is removed, union members will be intimidated into voting 100% of the time with union leaders or face losing union status and ultimately their livelihood. This will in effect replace all dissenting union members with “good” liberals, who will vote consistently in local and national elections to ensure a Democratic Dictatorship.

Watch for “changes” in the scope, size and power of “union” organizations like the NEA and a new Department of Education, whose ultraliberal agenda will influence American education at the Elementary, Secondary and Collegiate levels. This will guarantee ultraliberal “indoctrination” (or re-education) at an unprecedented and unrelenting pace of Americans from early childhood to adulthood and ensure the continuation of a Democratic Dictatorship.

The next legislative action of this ultraliberal block will be to pass the “Fairness Doctrine”, which will effectively silence one of the last conservative voices left in the wilderness – Talk Radio. This doctrine will not address the overriding majority of ultraliberal bias that exists in the newsprint and network television, it will focus solely on the few remaining conservative voices on the radio. This will in effect silence any dissenting voices that can influence the voting population and ensure the continuation of a Democratic Dictatorship.

Watch for an even greater level of “temporary” government takeovers of American private industries and businesses, forcing additional tens of millions of American workers to “kowtow” to an ultraliberal agenda. Priority legislations within this ultraliberal block will be to repeal NAFTA and trade agreements with pro-American countries and massively increase taxes on American Businesses. Once this is accomplished and American Industries are facing ever increasing labor and production costs, new regulations and crushing taxation, these bastions and cornerstones of American free markets will be forced to close shop entirely and move enmass to a more “business friendly” environment in which making a profit is not tantamount to criminal activity. When this happens, millions of American jobs will be lost, thus creating a highly disparaged, disgruntled and unemployed populous, which is dependant solely on BIG Government for sustenance. This has historically been the base of the Democratic party and will ensure the continuation of a Democratic Dictatorship.

Watch for “reinterpretations” of our Constitution, specifically 2^nd Amendment Right to Keep and Bear Arms. A limited repeal of this Amendment will make it nearly impossible for law-abiding citizens to possess a firearm. Watch for the long awaited ultraliberal agenda of impementing "Statehood" Senate representation for Washington, DC, a unequivocal violation of Constitutional law and a means to seat two additional ultraliberal Senators, ad infinitum. Keep a careful eye on the upcoming 2010 Census, the ultraliberal "block" will undoubtedly try to re-formulate the Census calculations/results (under-the-radar, of course) and redistrict, potentially every state in the union.  An ultraliberal agenda will massively increase Federal Law Enforcement size and authority, thus “warranting” the only armed segment of the new American Society will be either a newly created National Enforcement Agency or criminals. The level of intimidation and subjugation that we glimpsed during the lead-up to the Presidential Election, will continue unabated, thus ensuring the continuation of a Democratic Dictatorship.

Still not convinced that this is a Democratic Dictatorship, then please read how every fascist regime and dictatorship has risen to power throughout human history, you will be horrified at the remarkable similarities. 

We will have a totally collapsed economy. Our dependency on foreign oil will increase exponentially, due to greater restrictions on domestic drilling and the specific targeting, over regulation, and the levying of bankruptcy inducing fines on the domestic coal industry. American interests around the globe will be subjugated through our condescension to the UN and international concerns. Our Defense and Intelligence capabilities will be severely impaired and compromised, through an endless assault of “under the radar” budget cuts and our highly classified programs will continue to be leaked through the ultraliberal media. Look forward to endless unrepentant corruption, criminal activity and scandals, which will be “glossed” over by the media.

We will have become the proletariat masses, working to support our government and acceding to the wills of the limousine liberal elite and the Washington intelligentsia.

And when we are most vulnerable, we will no longer be able to bring the fight to our enemies, they WILL bring it to our doorstep.
