Let's get REAL!

Let’s get REAL!

The truth is: the healthcare debate IS NOT about insuring the 14 – 40 million (depending on if you are including 20 – 25 million illegal aliens) currently uninsured. This debate is about implementing a new mammoth federal bureaucracy that will require literally millions of new federal employees to administrate and will have absolute discretionary control over 20% of the total US economy. This is about absolute power and unlimited funding to forward an increasingly Marxist agenda. Guaranteed, within one year of the implementation of this program the government’s unfunded liability deficit will burgeon beyond calculation. Once this new federal bureaucracy is in place – combined with the government’s mandatory and rapidly expanding unionization of the US manufacturing, education, medical, energy and services market segments – an insurmountable Democratic party voting block will be created. We will no longer have a viable government for the people and by the people, it will be “the ‘gentle hand’ of those intellectual and anointed few guiding the unwashed and uneducated masses”. Beware!

In good conscience, we are well meaning Americans, Democrats, Republicans and Independents that want to provide a “shielding” system for the most vulnerable in our society. However, many Americans are being deceived by the false premise of this healthcare reform and are blindly following this path with a predetermined end that is lined with the proverbial “good intentions” (remember -strange, but true - the stark similarities between Jim Jones' socialist Utopia and universal healthcare in the People's Temple). Become Aware!

The facts are: that our government has bankrupted Social Security by continuously pillaging Social Security funds for “discretionary” spending not related to retirement or disability (remember this is the same reprehensible crime committed by Ken Lay at Enron). Many in our government are praising brutal dictators as enlighten, compassionate and intelligent leaders (Hitler’s followers used similar semantics), in an effort to make a socialist ideology palatable to the general public (remember the former Soviet Union, where the only equality that existed was the misery shared by the proletariat - the working class). Our government is spending at an unprecedented rate with no end in sight, all experts and economists agree this is unsustainable and will have disastrous results (remember our fundamental federal law on the never-to-exceed ceiling for government deficit spending – it is no longer enforceable). If healthcare reform is passed in its current state make no mistake a new federal tax will be levied on ALL working class citizens to pay for the reforms and the approximate 2 million new federal employees required to implement and administrate this program (the Social Security Administration requires nearly 70,000 federal employees and is nowhere near the size or scope of this healthcare reform). Your federal withholding taxes currently include: FED MED/EE – Medicare Tax, FED OASDI/EE – Social Security Tax and the soon to be FED HLC/EE – Healthcare Tax.

Our government is currently overrun with radical socialist and Marxist leaning politicians and un-elected officials. These individuals do not care about the average citizen and even less about our Constitution and Rule of Law (remember our US History and the tens of thousands of American Service personnel that died defending this nation from communist and fascist aggression).

The presumption that a perceived Social Conscience can negate a complete lack of Personal Conscience or morality is evident in the rampant corruption and misconduct that pervades our government. We truly have a shadow government with laws, deals and agreements being made outside of the purview of the public, in the dead of night and intentionally ignored by the majority of the media. This is an “any means to obtain the end” mentality and Americans will suffer the end results for generations to come (remember Lord Acton’s dictum: “Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely”).    Be Concerned!

If this debate was about keeping down cost and insuring the uninsured we would be discussing:

1.)    A privately run, government funded program for providing medical insurance to those who cannot afford it on their own. Insurers currently have comprehensive plans which average about $2000/yr. This would provide coverage for 20 million Americans for approximately $40 billion (not the $1 trillion in current healthcare reform cost estimates). These costs would be significantly reduced once a baseline is established and competitive markets emerge for the massive 20 million customer base.

2.)    Eliminate insurer bias and restrictions for pre-existing conditions.

3.)    Provide continuation options for loss or change of job status without the prohibitive costs of COBRA.

4.)    Eliminate the significant discrepancies between what costs an insurer will pay a healthcare provider or facility and what that provider or facility charges patients.

5.)    Reform federal and State laws restricting interstate competition among insurers, thus creating a vast portability pool of competition among national providers.

6.)    Implement effective fraud, waste and abuse elimination practices in the current Medicare/Medicaid/VHA systems (why not the whole federal government?).

7.)    Implement tort reform.

8.)    Drive down medical administrative costs by proposing a highly secure national   e-medical database that provides standards and open architecture that all medical facilities and healthcare providers can use. National (HIPPA) standards were established, but never fully completed or fully implemented.

9.)     Automate the system!

Effectively implementing just these 9 steps would drive down healthcare costs and insurance premiums, provide medical care for those who need it, allow our healthcare system to continue to implement the most innovative medical advancements in the world, would keep healthcare choices personal, would not over burden our healthcare system, and would not bankrupt the American taxpayer.

What it would not allow for is unlimited funding for the insane spending of an out-of-control government.

AMERICA - LET’S GET REAL! Our government is lying to us on an historic and unprecedented scale! The time for deception and misinformation is over! Become an informed, very concerned and involved citizen! The choice is ours to make.
