Aggregately, I believe we are a somewhat enlightened and intelligent society…
However, we are, at times, capable of unadulterated lunacy. We have known for years that scattered throughout the United States are groups that are seeking to destroy all that is America, our culture, our society, our people. We know that terrorist organizations out of Pakistan, Iran, Syria, Libya, Palestine, Yemen, Saudi Arabia and (yes) the U.S., including Hamas and Hezbollah operatives are moving freely among our citizenry. We know that these groups, often under the guise of “charitable” organizations, solicit support from well-meaning Americans. We know that in our forests, mountains and rural areas exist “paramilitary” camps and facilities that are actively used for terrorist training and warfare, and our urban areas are becoming the worldwide communications and recruitment hubs for these organizations. Make no mistake, these groups are well armed, well equipped, well funded, highly organized and ready for a “holy” war.
As an American, I have fervently believed that our government, (federal, state and local) had a “handle” on this situation and were actively engaged to eliminate this monstrous threat.
I WAS WRONG!!!
Investigations have uncovered videos, websites and publications showing these camps operating inside our borders and professing their intent and commitment to destroy America. Current estimates state these training facilities operate freely and uninhibited in at least 16 States within the U.S., Canada and Mexico and number in excess of 200 facilities, with membership in the thousands. Imagine for a moment the destruction unleashed upon us if the 9/11/01 terrorists were multiplied by a thousand! Unthinkable, it is in the planning stages NOW! While some of these facilities are well known to the U.S. authorities, no action can be taken, because our political representatives have granted de-facto U.S. Constitutional rights to these terrorist organizations. INSANITY! We have enemies operating “in-the-wire” and our politicians say we cannot violate their Constitutional Rights.
While the economy is forefront on everyone’s agenda, we cannot and must not lose sight of these imminent threats within our borders. This activity in our very midst is UNACCEPTABLE and MUST NOT be tolerated. Our elected representatives are unresponsive, HOPING this will CHANGE and go away by burying our heads in the sand. Understand that these representatives will quote PC laws to protect this activity under religious freedom and separation of church and state. These same representatives would call for heads-to-roll if these were Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, or Hindu groups. These same self-aggrandizing representatives will be at the forefront AFTER an attack to profess indignation on why nothing was done to prevent this. Remember the Branch Davidian’s under Bill Clinton and Janet Reno were decimated for far less egregious crimes than planning the annihilation of America and the murder of innocent U.S. citizens.
We are a very understanding and tolerant society. We accept with open arms all religions and beliefs. However if those beliefs are hell-bent on planning and executing the destruction of America we need to TAKE ACTION. Read the facts, become familiar with what is going on inside of our borders, and remember the words of Sir Edmund Burke, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
